Corrosive, high temperature brine is injected and then extracted from ore bodies at high pressures in remote well pad sites.
These sites often do not have instrument air available. The resulting rich brine is pumped to surface ponds where the ore is extracted. The corrosive nature of this fluid can be detrimental to standard valve and measurement technology.
